WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Kayleigh McEnany has rebuffed the subpoena from the House select committee investigating the January 6th attack, on the ground that she never worked at the White House.

In a brusque statement, McEnany claimed that “there is only one word for anyone who suggests I was ever a White House employee: liar.”

McEnany asserted that, contrary to the allegation of the congressional committee, “For the past five years, I have been assistant manager of an Enterprise Rent-a-Car branch in Las Vegas.”

Having established that she was not in Washington on January 6th, she pointed the finger at several people who were. “The members of the January 6th committee have a lot of explaining to do,” she said.
