Great news
for the intrepid New York City fan
who’s Covid-conscious
but not too paranoid.
Broadway has two-for-one tickets
and eateries are plugging Restaurant Week!
It’s a good deal,
even if The Music Man
isn’t included.
Museums, attractions and other venues
are also dangling bargain rates.
I know what friends are thinking:
“Are you nuts?
Covid is everywhere, my grandkids have it!
And no way would I eat inside!”
“How could you
even consider doing that
after you had Covid?”
I would do that
only if I’m feeling 100 percent
and have tested negative.
Virtual streaming is wonderful.
It’s just not the same as being there.

Not the same, that's for sure. Keep being there! 🥰
This is our new reality. Thank you for putting it into words.
What a great article! Living in Philadelphia made me want to move to New York to take advantage of all the bargains.
